Today MCC has a witness in more than 20 countries around the world, with most churches located in North, Central and South America, Europe and South Africa; there's also a beginning witness in Asia. The Reverend Perry retired as Moderator of MCC, but still continues to preach around the globe regularly, and the message of hope and healing has never diminished, but rather has grown stronger. From his early days of protest and witness to today he continues to inspire gay men, lesbians, heterosexuals, transgendered, bisexuals, questioning, and those who thought they'd lost all hope but found it again when they experienced anew God's love.

The Reverend Nancy Wilson is now Moderator of MCC as she leads the church into the New Millennium. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of OdysseyChurch. The Reverend Don Eastman (retired Vice Moderator and consultant with the Ministry Excellence Center) is the Vice Chair. Connie Meadows, Assistant to the Moderator, serves as Secretary/Treasurer. (Our Lead Pastor, the Right Reverend Grant Lynn Ford, is also on the Board.) This demonstrates the deep commitment to the success of OdysseyChurch and its unique outreach.

OdysseyChurch really is unique. Spreading the same message that Troy Perry began with in 1968, Odyssey is employing the latest in technology to get the word out. We're especially targeting the Georgia Low Country and Florida's coastal cities in the First Coast, Palm Coast, East Coast, Space Coast and Treasure Coast. With the exception of Savannah and Jacksonville, most of the cities are medium or smaller populations, so creating one church with many groups and gathering places makes sense. Using the WWW with its power to connect all these groups and people is a whole new way of doing church. While our hub is in Jacksonville (right in the center) we're not just a Jacksonville church. We're an Atlantic Coastal Church: one church, many locations. Yes, we're just beginning, but watch us grow!
