 The UUCJ is located on the Arlington Expressway's north service road, just east of Arlington Road and west of Townsend Boulevard, between Les Chateau Apartments and Agapé Dentistry. (Only the sign for the church is fully visible from the street.) The award-winning chapel and attached buildings are beautifully located in a serene wooded setting backing up to a forest preserve.
Southbound (Dames Point or Broward Bridge): bear toward Southside Blvd. and take the Arlington Expressway/Downtown exit. Immediately exit at Arlingwood Road exit onto the service road (a traffic circle). Continue west on the service road .5 mile to the UUCJ sign and driveway.
Northbound (Southside Boulevard): follow Southside Blvd. north to the Arlington Expressway exit and through the light to join the Westbound Expressway. (Follow the Westbound directions described next.)
Westbound (from Regency Square): follow Arlington Expressway west, taking the Arlingwood Road exit onto the service road (a traffic circle). Continue west on the service road .5 mile to the UUCJ sign and driveway.
Eastbound (Matthews Bridge): exit Arlington Expressway at Arlington Road (keep in the right lane). Turn left across the Expressway, then right onto the North Service Road. Go East .2 mile to the UUCJ sign and driveway.
OdysseyChurch is also affiliated with The Center for Progressive Christianity, a group of churches throughout the United States, crossing denominational lines, which support a progressive understanding of Christianity. The mission of The Center is: 1) to reach out to those for whom organized religion has proved ineffectual, irrelevant, or repressive, as well as to those who have given up on or are unacquainted with it; 2) to uphold evangelism as an agent of justice and peace; 3) to give a strong voice both in the churches and the public arena to the advocates of progressive Christianity, and 4) to support those who embrace the search, not certainty.
